Privacy boundaries
Mark a calendar end-to-end encrypted and its titles, descriptions, locations, and links are encrypted on your device (we cannot read them, not even to help you). Event times stay readable so reminders and availability keep working, and features that need us to read your events are switched off for that calendar. On ordinary calendars, selected text is encrypted at rest but the server still processes events for permissions, reminders, and collaboration.
